Lack of Leadership Imagine a leader who is insecure, narcissistic, and lacks the ability to govern effectively. A leader who surrounds themselves with people who will never challenge them — their “yes men” and “yes women.” A leader whose loyalty is more valuable than intelligence. Praise becomes more important than truth. And anyone with the courage to point out mistakes becomes a threat and is removed, to protect his ego. Trump is that leader, and America is paying a dangerous price for his leadership Trump chose personal loyalty over competence, and he’s making terrible mistakes. Critical warnings are being ignored. Our government institutions are being weakened. Corruption and favoritism are growing. Qualified professionals are leaving or being fired, while unprepared, incompetent loyalists take positions of power. America is becoming less capable of solving major problems, less prepared for crises, and more divided and unstable. A truly confident leader does not fear intelligence or criticism. They seek out people who challenge them, question them, and make them better. But Trump cannot tolerate the truth, he’s building a government of obedience — and in doing so, creating the very failure he is trying to hide. History has shown that a nation’s greatest danger is not simply a leader who makes mistakes. It is a leader who ensures that no one around them is allowed to say he is making them.
