Right-wing media outlets are flooding this country with President Trump’s administrations lies dividing us, instead of telling the truth. And the damage it’s doing to our democracy, our communities, is enormous. But Americans are not powerless. Corporations fund these outlets through advertising. That means we fund them when we buy their products. If companies choose to bankroll these lies, then we have every right — and responsibility — to boycott them. Economic pressure works. History proves it. It’s about accountability, not profits. Media outlets that choose the lies over truth shouldn’t be rewarded for poisoning public discourse. If advertisers won’t support the facts, they’ll listen to consumers. It’s time we use our power— our wallets, our voices, and our solidarity — its time to demand honesty, responsibility, and integrity in media. Truth matters. Democracy depends on it.
