American Patriotism My fellow Democrats, American patriotism isn’t a slogan — it’s a responsibility. Unlike our current president, a true patriot doesn’t demand that America serve them; they step up to help America become better, fairer, and more just for everyone, standing with all who believe in democracy as a shared promise. Patriotism means all of us need to defend our freedoms — speech, faith, opportunity, equality — and recognize that these rights belong to every person, not just a privileged few. True Patriots aren’t defined by uniforms or party labels. Unlike our current Republican leaders, true patriots protect our Constitution, fight for inclusion, and believe America grows stronger when more voices are heard.
