Join the Democrats of Southwest Riverside County in Launching Our Community Food Drive Initiative

Our club is developing a long-term, community-focused food drive program to support families across the cities we represent — Menifee, Murrieta, Temecula, Lake Elsinore, Winchester, Wildomar, and Canyon Lake.

This effort goes beyond a seasonal food giveaway. We are working to create an ongoing, monthly operation that strengthens our communities, supports our neighbors, and demonstrates Democratic leadership through meaningful, hands-on action.

Food insecurity continues to grow, and too many families are being left behind. As patriotic Democrats we need to take a leadership role in resisting the administration’s willful endangerment of those struggling just to make ends meet.

As Democrats, we believe it is our responsibility to step up, organize, and help ensure that no one in our community is forced to struggle alone. This initiative is both an act of service and a statement of our values: compassion, solidarity, and community resilience.

To bring this project to life, we need volunteers and leaders to help coordinate food drives and support local outreach. Potential roles include:

• Identifying community partners, beneficiaries, and local food banks
• Coordinating donation drop-offs and pantry needs
• Helping secure appropriate venues for monthly drives
• Recruiting and organizing volunteer teams
• Assisting with community action and public-awareness plans
